The Next Step in Their Scouting Adventure
Beavers build on the confidence and skills they started developing as Squirrels, while taking on new challenges and experiences.
They are full of energy, curiosity, and imagination and at 1st Carrickfergus, they get stuck into a world of exciting activities that spark creativity and confidence.
Open to boys and girls aged 6 to 8, our Beaver Colony is a place where young adventurers learn new skills, explore the outdoors, and most importantly have loads of fun with their friends!
Each week, Beavers might find themselves building dens, crafting masterpieces, going on treasure hunts, learning how to help others, or even earning their very first badges. We also have special trips, sleepovers, and joint adventures with other Scout sections.
It’s all about teamwork, kindness, and discovering just how brilliant they can be!
If your young one loves being active, making friends, and trying new things – they’ll fit right in with our Beavers.
What does my child need to wear?
.The Beaver uniform includes:
A bright blue Beaver sweatshirt
Navy blue activity trousers
A green neckerchief and woggle – these will be provided by us!
